What happens on my first visit?
The doctor will gather your health history and perform a screening exam to ensure she knows the path to help you.
She will recommend and arrange the type of exams and lab tests that need to be done to accurately diagnose your health condition. If appropriate, treatment can begin on this visit.
How long will it take for me to get better?
-Some issues like sprains and other pain syndromes can be resolved in the first visit.
-Most organ system related issues can be corrected within six weeks. Healing is a process that is dependent on you incorporating new life-style habits that take place over time.
-Some more complex problems require 12 weeks and very severe and complex problems may take many months for you to heal.
-For those who have suffered for many years it is generally true that you will feel 10% better each month as we redirect your immune system, digestion, and nervous system to serve you well.
Why do you recommend I keep coming in for treatment after I'm better?
Even though your car is running great you still get an oil change right? Same is true for your structural, nutritional and emotional integrity. Seasonal maintenance will often prevent issues before you have to suffer with symptoms.
Do you work with other doctors?
There is a valley-wide network of colleagues and specialists that we cross-refer to regularly. We are also happy to communicate with your existing caretakers so we can work with each other.
We are also pleased to communicate and work with your primary physician or be your primary care physician if needed.
Do you treat children?
Treating children is the best way to practice preventative care. We deeply value the opportunity to provide a child with a lifetime of robust and strong growth. Expecting mothers who are in care during pregnancy enjoy complimentary care for their infant during moms' visit for the first 12 months.

Do you have referral incentives?
Every new patient referral earns you a free office visit. Our practice is nearly 100% word of mouth referrals. We believe that when it comes to personal services such as healthcare the testimony of a friend you have confidence in is priceless. Please bless your friends with the opportunity to share in the restorative care that you have experienced.
What are your insurance and medicare policies?
Insurance companies don't seem to recognize the value of preventative care in this style. They seem to follow disease management rather than restoration. Therefore they do not generally cover naturopathic care. You may submit receipts to your insurance carrier for reimbursement. We will provide you with a “super bill” with the proper codes for your insurance company.
Labs and imaging are covered by most insurance companies however Medicare has recently stopped covering labs ordered from naturopaths. This is because some states don't have naturopathic licensure and Medicare is a national insurance agency. We are happy to provide you with items that you can request your MD order for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
There will be a $40.00 charge for appointments missed or for appointments cancelled without 24-hour prior notification
We understand emergencies do happen and will generally consider reasonable exceptions.
